Our vision is to become a mature and balanced English congregation, devoted to the church's mandate to make disciples for Jesus Christ.
Our mission is to turn people from nonbelievers to believers, believers to disciples and disciples to disciple trainers for Jesus Christ.
2009 Theme
The 2009 theme for our church continues from 2008 – “Commit, Care, Congregate”. The focus is on following Christ. The quarterly themes are – “Experience Inner Healing”; “Equip Through the Truth”; “Encourage to Love One Another” and “Empower to Minister”.
There are four directions –
• Following Christ, that we might Experience Inner Healing
• Following Christ, that our lives Live Out God's Truth
• Following Christ, that we may Love One Another
• Following Christ, that we serve one another in humility
Our Lord Jesus Christ calls the world to receive and follow Him. Those who receive and follow Christ must take up their own crosses. For this reason, we must, firstly, give of ourselves to the Lord as living sacrifice, so that we might be healed. Secondly, He calls us to live the truth, as He is the Truth. Our lives must bear witness to the Truth. Thirdly, our Lord Jesus said, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” As we love one another, all men will know that we are Christ's disciples. Fourthly, we are to serve the Lord with humility. We are to use whatever gift we have received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.
We pray that the whole people of God would follow Christ, that our lives would magnify the life of Christ daily. We ray that more will come to the Lord, and become His disciples, giving glory to our Father in heaven.
